This great article regarding using cell phones in the classroom was emailed to me via one of my many subscriptions regarding education, and I thought I would share.  If we could find ways to incorporate technology into our classes rather than fighting the students about it, do we think our lives would be a little "easier?"

Students want change, too!

Today a couple of students approached me about starting a student council in an effort to help make Crosby a better place.  They are eager to make sure that students look forward to coming to school and learning.  They have started a petition to change dress code, and are in the process of working on a dress code that will be acceptable to all parties.  Hopefully it will work, since many of our suspensions are a result of dress code violations.

We are taking steps in the right direction!!!  Here's to a better Crosby!
